POLARIS 800 RMK, ASSAULT, SWITCHBACK, RUSH GETS EVEN MORE POWER AND BETTER HANDLING WITH OUR PIPE AND SILENCER The Polaris 800 motor has been suspected of lagging a little in power behind its competitors, although it certainly doesn't feel that way because of its great handling chassis. Over the last couple of years power has steadily improved and when we tested the new 2013 RMK we found 155 hp at 7800 rpm, a very respectable output. We were even happier when we found another 8 hp by adding our "Internal Stinger" Power Pipe and "Double Core" Silencer. We now saw 163 at 8000 rpm, which is as good of an output as any green or yellow competitor. With our Pipe and "Double Core" Silencer you also save up to 11 lbs., which is always a welcome improvement to your handling, especially on the RMK. With the extra hp and reduced weight the RMK should be even more awesome in the mountains.
